Add to that the detail that since the lower classes were mostly uneducated, most of the history and practice of Flamenco was passed on through oral tradition; it’s passed on from generation to generation so it’s only natural that it has evolved on the process numerous times from its original form which is forever lost to historians of this generation.
Even in the contemporary era, historians and experts are still studying and researching to pinpoint the exact origin and history of Flamenco; even the origins of the name is still unknown. So much so that until today, many people is trying to acquire more information and do this musical and dance style all over the world.
